Sign up
Create your account and complete your artist information on the official platform.

Send your set
Upload a 25-minute set with at least 70% original music, mixed with tracks by other artists. Your set is your calling card.

Publish the set
Once approved, your set goes live on the platform. Get your audience to discover your music and listen to your entry.
- 04
Reach the final
On December 1, the 10 artists with the most valid listening time move on to the jury, which announces the 3 winners on December 10.

The minimum share of original music is 70%. Delivery specifications and the rules for validating listens are in the contest rules. Taking part does not mean giving up ownership of the music you submit.

- International contest: an official ID from your country (a valid passport if you are not from Mexico)

Who can take part?
Any DJ/Producer aged 18 or over, from any country. You need a valid official ID from your country; if you are not from Mexico, a valid passport.
Employees of the organisers and their direct relatives, members of the jury, and artists with exclusivity contracts that prevent them from playing at Zamna Tulum 2027 cannot take part.
What do I need to send?
Your complete artist profile (name, country, genres and photos) and a 25-minute set in AIFF, AAC or MP3, 200 MB at most.
When you upload your set, include the tracklist with the credits of each production.
What should my set be like?
It must last 25 minutes and be mixed by you: sets pre-recorded by someone else are not accepted.
Tracks made with AI are not allowed. The 10 finalists present their project with verifiable MIDI programming.
How much of my own music must I include?
At least 70% of the set must be your own productions or credited collaborations. Less than 70% is grounds for disqualification.
Remixes you make of other artists' songs count toward the remaining 30%, not as your own music.
How does the listening system work?
There are no likes and no votes here. Once approved, your set goes live on the platform and every valid second someone listens to it adds to your listening time.
When the call closes, on November 30, the 10 sets with the most accumulated listening time go through to the final.
How are invalid listens detected?
Only real listens count. Buying listens, creating fake accounts to play your own set, using bots or scripts, or asking others to do it for you is grounds for automatic disqualification.
The organisers may run checks at any point during the call.
What can I win?
The 3 winners sign a professional contract with Zamna to perform at Zamna Tulum 2027, with flight and hotel: $50,000 MXN and the main stage for 1st place, $30,000 MXN and $20,000 MXN and a second stage for 2nd and 3rd.
4th to 10th place receive Tickets/Music industry: access to Zamna Tulum 2027 to network with artists, plus opportunities with PR media.
What are the dates?
The call opens on October 5 for certified Bedroom DJ Academy students and on October 12 for everyone. It closes on November 30.
The Top Ten is announced on December 1 and the jury announces the 3 winners on December 10.
